The Art of Flexible Facts

Truth Social is a safe space where brains can take a well-earned break from the complexity of the world. It tells the people what they want to know, in a language they understand. Wrongthinkers and expert peddlers of fake news are sent to the corner to repent in shame.
Through the Looking-Glass
According to Pravda, the West was weak but somehow still an existential threat. On Truth Social, political opponents have IQs that barely surpass their shoe size—yet at the same time, they’re devilishly clever masterminds secretly running the entire world.
Objectivity? Hate Speech and Misinformation!
If facts don’t fit the narrative, too bad for the facts. Lenin declared that the press must be ”a collective agitator, propagandist, and organizer.” Truth Social proudly carries on this tradition. It is not just a social media platform but a digital fan gathering, where critical thinking is as safe as an oligarch meddling in politics near an open window.
Father Sunshine – Always Infallible
In the Soviet Union, Stalin was a hero whose mistakes were always the fault of saboteurs. Sound familiar? An election loss isn’t a loss—it’s a stolen election. Bankruptcy isn’t bad business—it’s deep-state sabotage. The economy isn’t tanking because of foolish trade wars but because of foreign leeches exploiting America.
The Art of Demonization – Enemies Need a Little Help Being Born
A demagogue thrives on conflict and division. Without them, people might focus on their own lives and lose interest in politics. The Soviet Union mass-produced enemies like an assembly line: White Guards, kulaks, Trotskyists, reactionaries, enemies of the people, cosmopolitans, and the Jewish intelligentsia. Truth Social paints political opponents as demonic space reptilians. They lurk in the deep state, among Demonrats, fake news media, and RINOs (heretical Republicans). And rest assured, new labels will be invented as fast as the previous ones are purged.
History Repeats Itself – First as Tragedy, Then as Farce
Truth Social is not an official state media—nor was Pravda at first. It, too, started as the megaphone of a single party’s truth. Their shared mission is keeping followers blissfully inside a bubble where the Great Leader is always right. Where will this Shining Path lead? Too soon to tell, but Stalin would surely be stroking his mustache in approval—and might even leave a like.
